It's already February 1st. I'm already half way done with my internship, finally! So what's been up lately? Nothing much, just busy with my studies, as always. And the past days... it has been freaking COLD! So I don't go out if I don't really have to. I hope this month will pass by quick, because by the end of next month, I'll be in Vegas! I can't wait to be in the warm weather again, go crazy shopping and explore places and last, but not least to be with my hubby again!

I'm also craving for a new macbook. I already have the macbook white 13", which I've had for quite a few years now. I think it's time for an upgrade pretty soon.

It's been half a year since I last put footprints on this blog. I've been super busy with my life. Anywho, here's a little update on what has kept me busy the last 6 months.

June:
- Went to New York and Las Vegas with my bestfriend Carmel
- Met my love in Las Vegas for the first time. At a club actually. We're 6 months now and going stronger

July:
- Spent the rest of my Summer just working

August:
- Back to school - my last year in Bachelor in Nursing

September:
- Went back to Vegas to be with my love, met his family and friends

October:
- Threw a masquerade party
- Internship started

November:
- I still had internship, plus lots of assignments. I had no social life!
- The only highlight of this month was probably when me and some good friends went to the Wiz Khalifa concert

December:
- Last days of my internship
- Christmas holidays was spent at my parent's
- My love came to visit me
- Ended year 2011 and welcomed 2012 with my love ones

January:
- Went to London with my love, spent my birthday over there
- A new 8 weeks of internship started

So that's basically it. Year 2011 has been good to me, hopefully 2012 will too. At the moment; I'm busy with my internship, assignments and spending some skype-time with my love. He's back in Vegas unfortunately, but we're making sure that we'll see each other soon enough. I miss my family and friends too, I hope I'll get the chance to spend some quality time with them as soon as I get the chance. This is my last semester in college and it's pretty hectic, but hopefully I'll make it through and be graduating in June! Oh, how time flies...

My 2nd year in bachelor in nursing is DONE! No more assignments, sleepless nights, frustrations and so on... at least not for two months. Lol. Summer-vacation is finally here! Yay!

Must haves 2011

Lots of new lenses and a Canon 60D. I already have a Canon 500D, but the thought of a flip screen on a DSLR makes me fall in love with it. I already love my Canon G12, which also has a flip screen.

A Macbook Pro and a tablet, doesn't necessary have to be an iPad. Well obviously, I just can't get enough of gadgets!

An oversized Alexa. I love how big it is, I usually carry a lot of stuff with me on a daily basis. So this bag will definitely be perfect! It's also a bit more "affordable" than a classic Chanel.

And last, but not least - Chanel 2.55. This Summer I'll be working A LOT. So a month of salary will definitely go to this baby. My mom and I are planning a long weekend to London sometime in September, that's when I'll probably purchase it. Can't wait!

Went out eating yesterday at Chinatown. Ordered some seafood, dim sum and chinesepancake with duck strims. For dessert: berries with whipped cream and ice cream. So yummy!

When I was in Manila, I went clubbing with my cousins and some friends.

We went clubbing at Quezon Avenue, at the club: Dolce. When we arrived the club, there were no one there except us. Lol. So we changed club and went to: Guilly's. It was so crowded and the music were so loud that you just wanted to dance right away. We partied all night long and didn't get back to our hotel till 6am. What a crazy fun night!

Spent my easter at my parents'. I spent it mostly with my cousins; playing badminton outside, eating BBQ and practicing for my cousin's cotillion (debut dance). I just love how relaxed I am after I've been in Rjukan. Rjukan is a place where you can set your troubles aside and just enjoy your stay. It's really relaxing and beside, it's quite good for your soul to get out of the chaotic city and just stay at a peaceful place.

After an exhausting Saturday-night we decided to have lunch at the city. Lunch and desserts at TGI Fridays. Afterwards Regie and Carmz had to leave, so there was just me and Mich. But just a couple of minutes after, we met Ernie who treated us for a café moccha at People's. Then Marie came along too. She craved for fried baked banana so our next destination had to be Hai Café. Khey called and came too. After Hai Café we all got split in pairs. Me and Khey went to my apartment, because she had to pick up her stuff. And since we haven't bonded for months, we ended up bonding till late night till she had to leave. What a day!

Anywho, after the high intake of calories I decided to workout - Zumba and Pilates. Therefore I'll try to make this workout program a daily habit. I need to get in shape! So instead of cutting down on my eating habits, I'll instead do some workout. I love food too much to give it up! There's too many temptations that I simply can't resist. Lol.

Yesterday was an up and down day...

Downs:
- I couldn't go to duty at the hospital- had a massive stomach-ache. I literally cringed because of the unbearable pain. I got a bit better throughout the day. Thank God!

Ups:
- I finally got my new cellphone: HTC Desire Z.
- Had plans to buy a new couch for weeks now. I was going to buy a brand new one at IKEA, but I found a secondhand selling for such a low price at the net. I took contact and got it immediately. My new couch is so comfy, love it! What a bargain.
- My aunt called me yesterday, asked me when I had the time off in May. She offered to buy me a ticket to the Philippines and pocket money to go along with it - just to pick up my grandma. Who could say no to that? So I'll be staying for two weeks in the Philippines sometime in May. Tickets already booked! Hello Philippines!

And being in the 2^nd semester equals frequently revising for the exams sometime in May-June. And to top it all, lots of projects. Though I’ll be busy with school-related-stuff, I’ll try to balance it all with what’s happening in the “real-life”. That way I won’t be THAT lost when I get back in track.

Thursday: Shopping. Ate at Yaya's with Abby and John. Movienight again with lots of calories.

Friday: Lunch at United Bakeries. Shopping again. Met up with some friends. Made jelloshots at Annli's place. Girlsnight at my place. Made sushie. Drank mojito. Tried hookah. Spinned the bottle. Manicure at 6am.

Saturday: Morning facemask. Getting reade for a party. Party at Annli's place.

Sick of being sick!

On Sunday evening I started getting the symptoms; nausea, vomit and stomach pain. I thought it was not a big thing, so I just let it pass... But today I still have the symptoms and much more. So I went to the doctor today, and she said I might have the "winter vomiting disease" (omgangssyken on Norwegian). The disease is not a "threat to life", I'll get well within a week. But it sucks, just because of the annoying symptoms. And it's contagious, which means I have to lock myself inside. Guess I'll be stuck at home the whole week. Well, all I can do now is just nurse myself so I'll get better in no time.

Any tips on what to do while being sick? Movie? Book? Music?

Edit 11.24.2010: Still sick! I feel so weak, all I wanna do is lie in bed all day with my macbook. Been watching random videos on youtube, bloghopping and "screenshopping" ("windowshopping" on the net). I hate this disease, the worst I've ever experienced.

Edit 11.25.2010: No healing-progress. Still sick -_-'

Edit 11.26.2010: Symptoms are starting to slowly disappear. Finally!

Lunch-date

Went on a lunch-date with Carmz earlier today. We went eating on "Mona Lisa", which is an Italian restaurant who has gotten top reviews. The food was ok, reasonable prices and a menu that has a lot to offer.

After lunch we went on a quick shoppingspree. I bought a trench coat from Mango, which can be used during the winter and/or in spring. It has a warm fur west inside the trench that I can choose to use or remove, which is pretty convenient during the season change.

The title says it all, I'm going to Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh) next month! I've always wanted to go to Egypt, and now it's finally happening.

I'll be traveling with a friend. We didn't actually plan this trip, we were just talking about how much we hated the weather at the moment, and that a trip to somewhere warm would be really nice. Then we basically just browsed through lots of alternatives, till we found a really awesome package-deal to Egypt.

I started watching this Tv-series yesterday; called Pretty Little Liars. It's similar to Gossip Girl, so if you like series like Gossip Girl, you should definitely check this one out. I'm hooked up already and I'll probably be watching it all day. Good thing I've got no classes today nor tomorrow!

My Samsung ST550 broke down on me :( I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I can still take pictures, but I can't use the "video" mode nor the other scene selections. The warranty is not valid anymore and taking it to reparation costs too much, almost as buying a new one. I therefore purchased a new one instead, the Canon Powershot G12. I'll promise to take much much MUCH more careful of this one.

Went to a debut (18th birthday) on Saturday and went "trick or treat" with my cousins on Sunday.

Other than that I've just been revising for a exam I had today. I really hope I passed *crossing fingers*.

I'm such a gadget-freak! I easily get tired of material things, therefore I have to replace it immediately. When I want something, I usually find a way to get it. I first hint it to my parents, but then we always end up having a long discussion. And I always end up working really hard instead. (Which is the right way anyways. But you can never go wrong with trying, right?)

Tonight was the first snowfall here in Oslo, Norway. Which means winter is here already.

Anywho, my internship at the OR have come to an end. 8 weeks has passed by so quickly.

I had my evaluation earlier today, and I'm so pleased with the positive feedback. At least I know now that I'm in the right path. There was this time when I felt lost, lost that I wasn't so sure whether to continue this career choice or not. But I'm back on track again. Thank God.

Summer happenings

Been so busy that I haven't got any time to blog at all.

This Summer has been enjoyable, yet very exhausting.

I've been in London (UK), Paris (France), Kiel (Germany) and a small shopping trip to Sweden

Besides of traveling, I've also been working. But only for 3-4 weeks, I've actually resigned. Having a work quite far away from school and my apartment has made it difficult to balance everything. That's why I'm in a haunt for a new job.

Anywho, look up for upcoming posts about my trips to Paris and Kiel :)

Finally! After knowing each other for 5 years, me and one of my closest friends have finally got the chance to meet each other. She's from Iceland, and me being from Norway has made it difficult for us to meet up. But this year their church members were having a congress here in Norway. Anywho, it first started with messaging each other on "Friendster", then chitchat on YM/MSN. Then we've automatically kept in touch. And since then we've become such good friends.

Hope to see you again someday. I really had a good time with you! ^^

I also hope to see all of my other friends around the world! :)

I just finished watching a Korean drama called "Personal Preference". This one goes on the list of one of my favorites.

Since I moved out I haven't got any time to watch this kind of dramas. Living by myself has sure kept my hands full. Now that it's summer and I'll be staying at my parents' for a while, I've finally found some time to watch some dramas again. All I do is sleep, eat, work, sunbath and do whatever. Oh, how I love summer.

I've been really busy the last week.

On Wednesday I went to Sweden with my dad, uncle and cousin.

On Thursday & Friday I was busy working. After my afternoon shift at work I met one of my bestfriends - Nicole, which I hadn't seen for quite a long time. Was nice to catch up again.

On Saturday I attended a 18th birthday party (debut), where I was asked at the last minute to be one of the 18 candles and hold a speech. I felt honored and said yes right away. I was also asked to do the debutante's hair and makeup. So I pampered her all up, then my bestfriend (the debutante's sister), a friend, the debutante's mother and my cousin wanted me to do their hair and makeup too. I didn't have the heart to say no, so I did fix all of them. They were satisfied and so were I with the finish outcome. But heck, I felt really tired.

I had an early shift at work the next day and after work I needed to attend to my cousin's confirmation. And on Monday (May 17th) I had an early shift again and a small get together with the family, as it's Norway's National Day.

I know I should be revising for my finals, but there's just so many occasions this month. And now I have to balance work and school. I just can't wait to finish this semester.

I can finally get some rest. Placement is finished and all the lectures for this semester as well. The only thing left is the final exams. I still got 3 weeks to revise and my brain is already loaded. Hopefully I'll pass :) There's a lot of things to look forward to (not the exam. lol), I'll be moving into a new apartment in June and the summerholidays is just a month away. Yay!

So I've got straight bangs again. This time it's more thicker than I'm used too, but I still love it. Because of my hair, I want to be more into fashion. So random, I know. Lol.

Life has been boring at the moment. Nothing much is happening, except for the old same routine, which is duty, studying, work and home. No social life. Gah! I hate it.

But last Saturday, me and some friends went on a roadtrip, to Sweden. It was nice bonding again, and I hope our roadtrip in Summer will go as planned.

My cousin and I are planning a get away trip, hopefully soon. We're planing to go to London and maybe Paris/Rome. I'm already saving and it's actually not that hard if you're willing.

A friend and maybe some other friends too, will come to Norway in July. Can't wait to meet them in person for the first time. I've known them for quite a while now, and it's going to be lots of fun to actually spend some time together in "real life".

I also applied for a student apartment, which is a lot cheaper and bigger compared to my apartment at the moment. Luckily, they gave me a good offer just two days after applying. Therefore, I'll be movingin June.

I've got a lot to look forward for in Summer. If I could only press the time on fast forward.

On Easter, six of my cousins slept over at our house in Rjukan. Since I started studying in Oslo, I barely see my family. I only get the chance to see them once or twice a month. I miss spending time with them, especially my little cousins, they bring out the little child in me. That's why I take fully advantage to bond with them whenever I got some free time.

I haven't been updating my site/blog for a while (again), so here's a little update;
So it has already been 4 weeks since I started my intern at a nursing home/clinicals, and I've got 4 weeks left. Time flies too fast, and finals are just around the corner. I'm a bit stressed, and I'm sure it'll get worse. For now, all I can do is to take things easy, step by step. I've got no social life lately as I'm busy with the whole duty thing, work and doing school related stuff. I miss my friends and to just hang out, doing fun stuff. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of things. But on the other side, I've got to know a lot of new people and made new friends. There's ups and downs to everything I guess.
